[Closed] weird menu creation problem

Hey Guys,
I am working on a menu builder for max14 reading the menus from a xml file. The problem what I am getting is kinda weird. When I run my max script it creates menu with only the children of the root element (need to know xml to understand it… ) and skips all the child nodes of the child node of root element. So basically its only taking the first children of the heirarchy. BUT,
when I refresh max with “Reset To Default state ” from the drop down menu of the workspace (next to file menu ) and run the script, then it works as charm… What would be the issue anyone?? Help is much appreciated.
