[Closed] useSceneMtlDups when loading Xref's

Is it possible to use the call #useSceneMtlDups when loading xref’s or be able to something similar?
We are using a code to go through a scene and replace mesh objects with their xref equivalent, and we are doing this in a batch process so it would be nice not to have the pop up window of “use scene material, use merged etc.”
I’ve seen this only works, to my knowledge, when merging objects, not adding xref’s
Does anyone know about this, or have suggestions?
