[Closed] Unfold > Edit > Refold??

I am hoping to find a veteran 3ds Max scripter out there with knowledge of the latest and greatest 3ds max software(3ds max 2011). I am hoping to find or develop a script that can do the following:
Automatically unfold a complex 3d mesh(A) into a 2d flattened mesh(B) that can be used as a guide for wrapping geometry onto the original 3d mesh(A). currently I am using the “Wrapper 1.06” script found at CNC Tool Kit. this script does exactly what i need for the most part unfortunately it is pretty unstable and can produce unwanted results.
My goal is to create a script that acts very similar to the Maya shrink wrap but would allow for a fully circumferential wrap
Compensation can certainly be discussed if need be.
