[Closed] toggle "Pan View" and "Arc Rotate"?

Not using a script – but if you have a mouse with a middle button then holding that down will Pan a viewport & holding it with Alt pressed will Arc Rotate.

I’m trying to avoid having to use the middle mouse button. I use an AirObic mouse and the MMB is a real pain to hold down. Is it that Max scrip can’t make any keyboard toggles, or is it that those particular functions are not scriptable?
