I second the guy who said Scriptspot is already fulfilling that need. It is comprehensive, and huge.
Also the maxscript help file is incredible. Just read it.

Scriptspot has full, working scripts. When you’re writing a script and would want some examples of how a certain thing can be done then having chunks of code sorted by usage instead of full scipts would be much faster.
The beginner section of the mxs ref has absolutely nothing to do with this.
But the MAXScript Frequently Asked Questions chapter does.
I am fishing for these examples here and on the Discreet Support Forum (granted, I am writing most of them, but still… ;o). So asking for help here often leads to a new FAQ entry in the shipping MAXScript Reference build (which is due to be updated in the coming weeks – available not only to subscription members, but to everyone!)
