don’t feel bad, you just have to practice more. Then you’ll get good enough to write code that actually works. Hang in there!
what is not working? my code rarely doesn’t work. but sometimes it’s not clear for a beginner.
what i did was copy your code into the MaxScript Editor, then crtl + a to select it all, and then dragged it to a toolbar.
then made a sphere, removed a few faces, used the border sub-object mode to select the holes,
then ran your script, just like i ran Bazy’s script. but nothing happened. Bazy script worked, but i couldn’t get yours to do anything.
did you make a macroscript?
Denis always put example code inside comment block ei. /* and */.
Remove these from the code and you will see (after you run it) two planes and two border splines.
Copy and paste code into the MaxScript Editor and press Crtl + E

Don’t provoke Denis. He is one of the most respected members of this forum, I mean real “Guru”. The correctness of of his code is 99.999999999999999999%. No one has such a percentage.
