Thanks Dennis but Im doing all of the UI inside the dll so im not adding any controls max side

and what? you can add structure pointer as mxsvalue to any dotnet form control… no difference where this control was defined and created

ok thanks for the help,
as you may have been able to guess this is my first exploration into dotNet UIs.
It all seems to be working now after a couple of quick tests
