[Closed] simple question: how to delete tabs

when I paste code from script to script sometimes the indent will be misaligned. if there aren’t enough tabs I can select the block of code and tab it into alignment, but what about doing the opposite, deleting tabs to match alignment? I feel like there is a button combination I don’t know about or something
