[Closed] showtexture in viewport toggle
hello all
i’m building a small script for viewport optimisation and i’m looking for a way of turning texture visualisation on /off for the viewport.
i found all other command for the viewport like setshowedgeface() etc but i’m looking for something like setshowmeditmat() or something like that and assign it as a macro
any idea??
thank in advance
If you search this forum you’ll find all the info that you need. It’s been discussed a few times before. Also there already are scripts out there that do what you need. I believe Neil Blevins’ “Soulburn” scripts pack has one, and if not try www.scriptspot.com.
Hope this helps.

i found SMIV by bobo problem is ; like most script i found they use the “show map in viewport” founded in the material editor.
What i’m looking for is a way to disable texture rendering in viewport as found in “customise/viewport Config/ Disable texture”
I’m aware the result is quite the same but since there command to lot more stuff on the viewport( show wire, show grid, texture correction etc) i tought there might be one for texture rendering in viewport.
