there is a method LightscapeLight::SetColorPreset

you probably can do it with c# and on-the-fly compilation

That sentence almost made my brain explode.

I know that these methods can be accessed directly using the SDK, but I usually avoid going in that direction unless speed is a major concern. Aside from personally finding C++ to be !simple, the need to recompile for every version of Max is a significant issue.
