I can’t find the command that pops up a floater that contains a list of the objects in the scene. The command returns the objects that the user ends up selecting. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

selectByName()
This is NOT the selection floater (which is a modeless floater that lets you select object), but the equivalent of the H key command or the Select By Name icon in the Main Toolbar which is modal and requires you to confirm or cancel the selection before you can do anything else.
