[Closed] Search Function

hi everyone this may seem like a silly question but this function has me stumped.
I am trying to read a binary model file and i want to seek to a specific piece of text or a hex number.
How would I go about doing this say for example I wanted to do a search for DDS
or in hex 0x444453
