[Closed] Scripting controllers – constrain circle to bounding box?

A minor update – I’ve been away for a few days.

The above code works in my small tests, but fails in the real world on some bones in my currect facial rig setup at work.

I’ve isolated the issue to the axix of rotation – Z and Y seem to be getting swapped over on the rotation part, and the angle offset is getting swapped at times.

I BELIEVE that this is because my Jaw bone is parented to a positional point helper, which is in turn parented to the head bone. This could be altering the axis.

Further invesitgation is required.
