[Closed] script for different objects modifier

hi,

i am having a problem, i am using the cebas plugin scalpel (it is a modifier which diveds the object into two parts, hides the upper part, so you see the lower (differnce with slice is it can cap the cuutedd area)). scalpel uses a gizmo so you can adjust where you want the cut.

the problem is i have a big scene, a house which has walls windows etc. when i apply the modifier to all the objects at once max crashes! so i apply the modifier to all the objects by selecting afew objects , then apply it to another few. now, how do i select A GIZMO for all the used scalpel modifiers gizmos???

is there a script which can attach indivudual gizmos to a special gizmo, so i can adjust just that gizmo and all gizmos will move accordingly…

is it a hard quest?

edit: or is it possible to link a gizmo to a plane lets say, so that will also be an answer.

I responded to some one just recently asking how to control a gizmo of a modifier with script.

I haven’t finished the response so I will do that now. You could also script the addition of the script controller that is needed to make it al work. Give me a bit and I will get it all set up.
