[Closed] Script controller bug

I would be interested to hear which version of Max you are running into this with?

I rely on upwards of a dozen float scripts for helpers in my maxscript plugin. 3ds max 2011 trackview (on trackview open especially) was evaluating each of these controllers tens of thousands of times for a few hundred frames of animation. The same files opened in 3ds Max 2012 would only evaulate, at most, a number of times equal to the number of frames in the anaimtion. The only downside to 2012 is in the process of speeding up trackviews, they broke vertical scale zoom for script controllers…

… and damn i wish you could set custom colours for their lines…
