i am not a scripter and for some archviz project in need to place a parametric planes
in the center of a meshed rectangle (2 faces). my problem is that i also need to orient the plane in the direction of the faces of the rectangle element. is there a tool to do that? doing that for many, many, many objects is not really funny! 😮

i have something like that in rappatools… still not finished though… you can check it out… get rappatools and in extraRappaTools you have facade… that will do something like that… if you press ctrl+facade it will only put the facade obj where u have faces with the id set to 313… like i said it’s not finished i forgot to do this before i released rappatools v1.9
