[Closed] real time stress map ???

hi guys i was wondering if it possible to create a “real time” stress map
by measuring the compression of polygons or vertex and assigning a color value
to the vertex color to be used as a mask between 2 maps , one relaxed , and one stressed .
the mankua stress plugin is not to my taste
you can see the shift between the colors in real time , and it prevents you from working with mental ray .

i cant find anything about polygon or vertex compression or stress any were .
anybody know if something like that is possible through maxscript ???

I think stress/compression can be measured as the ratio between a polygons area and the area it had in the ‘relaxed’ state.
Having said that, I can’t imagine any maxscript solution will provide suitable realtime interaction for dense meshes, but I would love to be proved wrong.
