Hy folks,
i search for a script that allows to make a random selection of polygonal components (faces, vertecies, edges).
is there somehting similar scripted for free download allready or does anyone have a clue how to script something like this?

Hi PsychoSilence, this feature is available in the PolyBoost tools. With it you can select random subobject elements using percentage of total amount, or a specific number of elements. This software is not free though, you might find something free on www.scriptspot.com

You could try the script “RandomFaceSelect”.

But the one in Polyboost is great, and the script comes with a ton of other useful tools as well. Well worth the price.
