Firstly is there a quick reference anyone has a link to with event handlers for maxscript objects?
Also: I need to get the /scripts/ directory inside the root 3dsmax folder
I can’t find a good comprehensive resource for my maxscripting needs, any ideas or books someone could point me to?

Your best comprehensive resource is, quite frankly, the maxscript reference. If you want quality training, check out www.cg-academy.net . Those maxscript DVDs rock.

[li]Look up event handlers. It’s all there. Alternatively, just use visual maxscript to build and handle the interface. If you mean events that happen in the scene (ie object movement, someone saving/rendering etc.), check out Callbacks.[/li][li]Use scriptsPath for the current scripts directory.[/li][/ul]
