is there a way to get the code in the script operator colored like in the maxscript editor and also the tab space feature (auto indent) of the maxscript editor, the only option in the script operator editor i found of use was file>open editor window … at the moment i am copying the code to the listener then pasting it back because the tab spaces would not automatically adjust in the script operator window (no auto indent i mean) when i open new paranthesis i have to press “tab tab” for each line in the for loop of proceed handler

after three days of research and coding I can say that it’s 100% possible to use beauty of maxscript editor editing script operator/test, etc. I completely redirected the editing of particle scripts in mxs editor. Any changes (or saving to the file) causes (an option) the script evaluation. Any new particle script selection causes its focus (an option) in mxs editor.
I’m not sure that I will be able to share whole code but I will try to give an explanation of the basic ideas as soon as I have a time.
