[Closed] Merge Nodes with influences using MXS

I don’t know how recent the merging behavior was changed but working with v. 2016 i found that specified nodes are bringing in without their influences (for example skin meshes come without skin bones) .
In the Merge Dialog there is a button now <Influences> and check box <Select Influences>. It finds, selects, and brings all selected to the file.
But original behavior was automatically bringing specified nodes with all influences. I remember how I was fighting with this feature.

But now my question – is any hidden flag there which tells the merge method to bring all specified nodes with influences?

Nothing in the help about this… I guess the ‘only’ way to do this would be to merge everything in… find out what the influences are and delete everything else… I’ll flag this with Larry so hopefully it can be a merge parameter at least.

The change was just in the UI from what I remember…

i will definitely solve my problems. Honestly it’s not a problem at all. Anyway the way how MAX defines influences doesn’t work in most cases. But it’s pretty big move if there is no an option to merge “old way” (means with influences) which was a default one
