hi folks, i once saw a tool to distribute objects on the surface of an other object, like putting nuts and bolts on a tank or so. I can’t find it anywhere, does anyone has a clue? thx!
You might want to take a look at the scatter compound object. Else you’ll have to check out scriptspot.com, someone probably made a tool that will suite your needs.

thx, scatter is good, but you don’t have any control on placement (or not specific). I need a tool that uses the interface like th paint tools.
