[Closed] maxScript for filling holes
i need to create a maxScript that will allow me to fill holes in a mesh with the push of a button. We have a procedural head generator that gives us head models with holes where the eyes should be, but we need to fill those wholes so we have a watertight model.
put simply, my boss doesn’t want to have to take the time to fill in the holes manually for every head model generated. i’m told that the heads will all have the same number of vertices with very little shape differences between them…so it seems we’d be able to make one script that will work for any head model it pops out. i’m an intermediate max user (maya is my forte) and a total beginner to max scripting, so any help at all is much appreciated.
i’m also checking the links in the resources thread, i just wanted to get this question out there so i’d hopefully have other people helping me along in my learning. thank you very much,
