[Closed] load animation problem

hi guys , im having a problem with the “load animation” option in max 2013
im trying to load animation for specific controlls as part of a script
but when i load the animation the value of the the transforms in the key frames is off
it looks like its multiplied … not sure y
did any one else run into this problem ?
im not sure if the problem is with the “save animation” option or the “load animation” option … or in the rig , something is causing the value of all the keys to be changed.
any ideas ??

im looking at the difference in value of the key-frames
and there is none…but the position is not the same…

Scrutinizing the tracks in the curve editor can reveal much.

when I had similar problems importing xafs between rigs, the culprit was the “Frozen” position and rotation tracks. My rigs had different values in the “frozen ” tracks, and the .xaf track values were added to the target rig’s different “zero” values, yielding different final positions. I ended up hacking a script to print out the “frozen” track values in the source rig and apply them to the target rig.

so if your target rig has different “frozen” values form the source rig, that could be your problem.

Max can also make it easy to add unwanted controllers accidentally without making it obvious (again the curve editor can help diagnose) I noticed that some of your controls have varying numbers of bezier curve controllers assigned to them. I see one’s Y Position has 3 bezier curve controller tracks, while X has only 2 bezier curve controller tracks. It might be deliberate, but it might be an accidental ‘extra’ controller that causes this controller to differ form the source.

i figured it out though , i have some extra bezier controllers inside the zero pos xyz
and when loading the animation max insisted on loading it to every one of them
so every layer had the same animation inside adding them up together
i figured max would know not to do that … i was saving from the and to the same identical rig
but it didn’t …
