[Closed] intersection of a curve and a tessellating row of boxes

hello, i wonder if any of you may please be able to help me with a script to make a tessellating row of shapes, which only appear if they intersect with a spline or other curve,
or, just how could i tell,(or how does maxscript tell) if a spline (or nurbs) is intersecting with a given area of space?
