[Closed] Interlacing pictures

Hi again after a long time, i’ve been busy, so absent from forum.

Now i’m in front of a dilema:

I know how to mix pictures writing line of pixels per line of pixels, the thing is that i want to do this in a real time basis or at least near real time.

What i want to do is to pick two viewports and mix them interlacing the pictures, so i can do some kind of stereoscopic real time previewer for people who has displays with interlaced polarization.

So is there a way to mix pictures in real time, or near real time? I don’t want any render, any alpha, anything special, just grab two viewports and mix them, but as fast as possible.

Thanks.

Cheers.

I’ve noticed one thing, and i want you to correct me if i’m wrong…you can only grab a picture from the active viewport??? you cannot grab a picture from an inactive viewport without activating it first?

Cheers.

So…no clue at all? there is no way to capture an inactive viewport via maxscript?

Cheers.
