[Closed] Import shader fx graph into my material with maxscript
I want to import shader fx graph into my material, but I can’t find any information about it.
I’m on max 2016, and I can import it manually and access its properties afterwards, but how to import it with maxscript?
how are you importing it manually? If you do it from the built-in MAX UI, you also should be able to import it via MXS.
I open Shader FX editor and import sfx file in its menu
but I can’t find anything about handle it with the maxscript
p.s.: I want to make a converter from standard to directx material and back. I already did it for stingray, but I in that case I didn’t need to open any external file.
