I have a question , how to Detects current layer ?

For example ,Current layer is a, I want to know a, How to do

I have searched maxscript help, but have no Function!

Maybe this will help, type each line into the listener:

currentLayer = [size=2]layermanager.current[/size]

currentLayer.name

hopefully after pressing enter on the last line it should return the current layers name as a
string.
