[Closed] how to: GPU rendering via MAXScript

in this video he used MAXScript to render using GPU in Real-Time…can we do it if we have V-Ray 2 installed or n-Tracer installed…

That is possible with any activeshade compatible renderer. Otherwise you would have to figure out how the renderer is launched and use that to trigger it. The video shown there is older demo from Siggraph a few years ago, Vray 2 use active shade and is done inside of 3ds Max.

The MaxScript bit shown in the video is simply translating the 3DS Max scene in to a file format suited for the GPU rendering application.
And VRay 2 comes with VRayRT GPU, so you should be all set if you’re running that.
