[Closed] gw.Polygon: How, where, why?
I’m trying to draw a bitmap over the scene without adding extra geometry to the scene. So its the gw interface for me, but according to the maxscript reference the triStrip functions are broken but it seems that the polygon functions are broken too,as they seem to do nothing at all, that is unless I’m doing something wrong, but this is doubtful since not even the example code works.
If anyone has had any success with this function please post some code up here.
I’d post mine but I didn’t save my script and Max crashed on me.

I’ve scoured the forums for this same answer, and I gave up convinced that no one! has ever successfully drawn a gw.polygon. I can draw polylines and tris just fine, but a polygon is like black magic…
it isn’t implimented actualy and should be taken out of the help. Grab Larry’s extensions and he has added ones in there. I forget what they are called.
