[Closed] getting mapchannel of diffuse slot ?
Hi all.
First i’d like to thank anyone in this fantastic forum for the help i got so far.!
After alot of search in the reference i finally give up …
lol no but i can’t get it to work
I need to get the mapping channel for the diffuseMap or the bumpMap texture…
i can get this information for the mesh from the modifier. But is order to
work i need to link it to the materials. Also when i change the channel in the material
the macroreader doesn’t show any action. ?
Any help would be greatly apprechiated.

the answer is – mat.diffuseMap.coordinates.mapChannel

Hi all well one sulution usually leads to the next question… lol
i have the following problem. i can read out the mapchannels from almost every procedural
texture but i have problems with the “tiles” procedural texture.
the attribute coordinates.mapchannel does not seem to exist here.
Is there another way to read the mapchannel form the materialmaps ?
Or is this even a bug in Max ?
Help would be apprechiated.
