[Closed] fixed bone , for car wheels rigging
hi :
i have a question , look for help :
make 2 bones . when we move the children bone , it will move aroud the base bone . and if we move the base bone , i want it move around the children too . i have tried use ik solver, but as u know , when move the base bone , the distance between the ik handle and the base bone will changed , and move ik handle , same thing . so if it have a idea to make the ik length fixed . it works . but i dont know how to do .
i need a fixed distance , and works like children bone .
i think u can understand me .

i have test with many ideas . ex: use two helper to try . but always stoped by max alart : ” dependence loop “.
im tired in moving this stone .
I believe you can’t have two pivot points like that. You can make an object change it’s parent (& pivot point of course) in a spesific frame by using Link Constraint.
Help -> User reference -> Search -> link constraint
and choose the first topic.
It’s a bit tricky as the extra pivot point (ie. a dummy) has to be animated by itself when it’s not in use by the link constraint – it cannot be parented to the animated object, or it would create another dependency loop. Wow this is hard to explain, i suggest in searching the user reference
