I believe this was brought up before…Could some one give a template on how to make a dropdownlist inside a toolbar…similar to the “view type” dropdown list in max.
I believe you have to use C++ in SDK, but i’m not familiar with how to start or where to look. Any help would be appreciated.

Sorry but in C++ with the SDK (and in MAXScript of course) it’s not possible to do that. Access to the main toolbar “is locked”.
It’s only possible to add a toolbar item (with an icon but not a DropdownList) when linking a MacroScript to it.

Forgive me if i sound repetitive, but for my own clarification, then the only thing you can to a tool bar is icons and buttons? I’m refering to any type of method.

Yes, only toolbar button with text or icon.
