[Closed] dotNet not being redrawn

 PEN

Can’t remember how to do this. I have several rollouts in a subRollout. One of the rollouts has a listview type setup. Now when one of the other rollouts gets rolled up or down the dotNet controls disappear.

What was the method for stoping this again?

Just added a paint event to the root control and then call s.refresh() and that works. Any other better way?

I can’t help you but… at least I see I’m not the only one who forgets how to do things!
I thought it was my age.

It might be, I’m 51 in a couple weeks. memory has never been good and getting worse!

And the amount of times that I have searched for an answer to something just to find that I answered it for some one else the year before.

:keenly:
That is then. I’ll be 50 in few months.

haha – old mens club – currently still 48, but autumn next year is my “turning 50” doomsday
not that i care much, actually …

I clicked that hoping that Denis had found a solution for ageing. I was disappointed.

Thanks though, 42 myself last month and feeling like the old man of the sea at my company until I read this. Did make me think I’ve probably forgotten more than I currently know in 3d, heh heh.

Denis has a solution for almost everything , in this case i think for age of dotnet controls. I’m 31 and I feel I’m child in this discussion

When I was young I said solving a problem: “No problem! Let me think…” and solved the problem in couple hours.

When I was mature I said: “That’s OK. Let me remember how I did it…” and solved it in one hour.

Now I’m old, and I say: “I can’t just solve it. I don’t remember how I’ve solved it before. But let me look in my archive…” and solve the problem in 15 minutes …
