[Closed] cut around selection

Hello to all,

I was wondering if there is a way of making a script that can cut around the component you have seleceted, no matter the selection is (a vertex, an edge or a poly). It’s like connecting edges around the selection you have. Hope I made myself clear about the way it should work.
