Ethical question:
Is it fair to include models from SamplesDVD as a part of a script to be released to public?
I tried max’s licence agreement, but Im very unfamiliar with this kind of reading.
Max ships with whole loads of extra stuff, as we all know, like textures, plenty of things such as models, particle presets, rigs, motion files, sample scripts, …
Is all this just for learning purposes, or can it be incorporated as a component of some other project?
Any clues?
Hi
if the Model are free for commercial projects, can you do it. If it not (for example 3dsmax Tutorial Scenes/Objects) … you can´t do it.
Thx.
Yeah. I guess I shoud grow up, and realize, that if you want something in this world, you have to either make your own or buy it.
Or associate with someone who is going to make it for you…
A propos:
If anybody is interested in participating in the development of an animation tool, that is ment to be open source, but may have a commercial twist to it, I could use some caracter-making-rigging muscle, and perhaps a scripting fellowship… More of a fun thing, so CGjobs is out of the question…
