[Closed] copy animation from rotation_list to rotation_layer
So if I have a set of keys on an eulerXYZ under a rotation_list(), how would I go about copying the keys to an eulerXYZ under a rotation_layer()?
In Maya, I could just change the input on an animation curve from one rotation attribute to another. Is such a technique possible in Max?
I need to maintain the integrity of the animation bezier curve during transfer.
To be clear, this is between 2 different objects…

Ah. Thanks, Paul. I’d tried that but nothing seemed to be happening. I’ll try it again at work. It seems that I was able to achieve the results I was looking for at home by disabling the Base Layer (setting it’s weight to 0%) and letting the copied animation, when placed in their own component layers, drive everything.
