I tried it in Max 2011 x64 and it worked fine, both for right clicking and using the quit button.

Hey, thanks for trying it out. I’m not quite sure I understand you there, though. I know I can stop it by right clicking or hitting the quit button, but what I want is to be able to switch back and forth between the two tools by clicking the first 2 buttons. Or is that what you meant?
Sorry I didn’t try that. I tried it now and it seems like the first tool doesn’t stop when you click the 2nd button. But when I right click, it reports stopping #2 first and then #1 at once. I guess you want #1 to stop as soon as #2 is run, right?

Right. When I’m running actual tools like that, it can’t be running multiple tools at once, so it gets stuck on one of them and then I need to right click or hit “quit” to get out.
