By that I meant, Particle methods might be one of the faster ways to do it. But really a voxel method like the ones I mentioned work great for high poly geo. They might take a little bit to get started, but once they get going, I’ve found they are faster in general than other methods.

But, I never looked into the particle stuff really, so that’s why I say, it might be the best way or better ways to do it.

I agree with you

Matt I was thinking the same thing I figured with high Res meshes that the BRay method would take a long time. So you guys think the of method is the best?
As of right now I think that’s the best method.
I’m mainly in search for ways of making it run smoother ad faster. I’ll post the latest version tomorrow morning and then from there we can look at ways improving. I’ll implement the newer faster code before posting.

Side note: the nice thing about particles is that I can easily add the option to control the position object operator particle positioning. Example being surface , pivot, volume …

Are you read the mail that i send?

Yeah i emailed you.back.

Yeah, particles are more versatile it seems and could definitely be the answer. I’m interested to see how this continues to go.

I’m going to go ahead and stick with the whole particle system setup and move on to seeing other ways of improving it. I’m going to fix a few bugs and post the newest build here in about 2 hours.

I look forward to hearing feedback.
Thanks again Matt and Branko for your guys help on this.

After all, particles is obviously the best solution for your script. Stay on that.
Maybe later you decide to cretate “Plexus” like syber web

If your wondering why I don’t do 1.2, 1.3…
In simple terms I’m just not much of a fan doing the float version numbers when releasing builds. I find it easier to track whats been released just in whole numbers.

Any ways check it out!

As mentioned by denis what it didn’t do before…it now does!
Radial webbing.

Ill be spending the next week rewriting and cleaning up the code so if anyone has any suggestions of improvements on things let me know. I’d love to incorporate it and make it a solid tool.

You’re pleasantly surprised me. Amazing result and if you continue to work on this way, who know, maybe this tool produce better result then real spider:cool:. What’s next exept cleaning the code?
