Nice renders. the plugin seem to have good potential for certain kind of npr renders,.
But could you tell me , how does it perform in animation–?
- line quality? –does the lines have flickering /aliaising probelms?
I have found that – on checking animation renders of :
a)built in 3ds max toon shader
b)mental ray contour shader
c)and also the older cartoon ryes v 1.0 plugin
all of the above – even after using high antialiasing/sampling setting – line flicker/aliasing was still evident.
with Illustrate (trial download-latest build)-i found that setting the antialiasing to extreme setting would inevitably crash 3ds max–and the lower settings did not produce production quality line renders.
so if this plugin can give clean line renders then IMHO its a fantastic plugin!!
anyway , will definitely test and check it out …
