I am preparing my master class for Siggraph 2005, so I am pretty busy, but I am working on the matrix dvd whenever I have time. I think it is going to be fun to watch
Yeah, I’ll be happy if at some time soon I can understand raytracing, matrices and transforms plus all of the meshop / polyop bits. MXS is a great language to fool around with, but I’d love to know some of the higher level things so I can be a “proper” td :).
Have you any idea if your siggraph lesson will be sold on dvd after?
Pretty sure it will be sold on DVD.
Last year’s session was very Frantic Films specific (Making Of Scooby Doo 2 with lots of scripting details shown), so AMED decided not to publish it on DVD – it is the only class from 2004 not available to public!
This year’s Master Classes were explicitly declared as “no company ads”… So I am sure they will publish them all, incl. the MAXScript one.
Great work on the challenge, guys! I’ll be posting this week’s in around 5-10 hours. You can either vote for the best script, or we can just have these without voting… i’m open to thoughts!

I’m looking forward to the next challenge, although it’s a busy week this week with Glastonbury festival and all
we need to get a bit more interest in the scripting challenge I think, some more entants would be great.

Basically this is the second one I’ve written…so it’s not very fancy and is highly unoptimized…but oh well…I’m sure as these challenges go along I’ll get better
How do people want to handle voting for this? Group consensus per week, or per month?
I’d say per month, it might be a bit too much if there is a vote every week.
