[Closed] Cancelling actions through script

Can i cancel an action with script.

I mean, i’m doing a task that overload the computer, and this task is performed while i’m rotating the viewports, so somtimes the “Orbit Camera” gets stucked even when i have released the button of the mouse, i want to cancel the action by testing a variable to know if the mouse is pressed, so, if it’s pressed it will ignore the command, but if it’s not pressed it will test if all the actions are canceled, so it will cancel the action.

I hope i explained it well.

One more thing, the mouse tracking inside max is not working fine for me, but the dot net control that zeboxx wrote is working like a charm!

OFF TOPIC:

Thanks ZeBoxx and all the people that helped me (and the other who doesn’t, too because i’m sure that they would helped me if they could) you are helping me a lot to learn maxscript and it’s great! maxscript saved my life today with an error in an animation scene, without it i don’t know how many time i would had to invest to solve the problem. THANKS GUYS!!

Cheers

Ok, i’m really silly…using a simple command like:

max select

when the variable indicates that there is no mouse button pressed

Cheers!
