[Closed] Break and Weld UV's on 100k tris meshes

I know it will be useful for someone. As of me, I see no use at all for this code yet. But it was funnier than a Sudoku…

i’m glad to see that you made exactly right conclusion about this challenge

I can’t measure any big drop in performance using “converttomesh” while not in Modify Panel.

For a 1M faces object it performs in 16ms (node is selected), and 78ms if Modify Panel is open.

If the node is not selected I get the same numbers across all panels.

Have you found a faster way to hold the mesh state?

i don’t want to convert to mesh because sometimes i want to keep a modifier stack
