[Closed] Attach without collapsing?

Hi there
So i’m having a little problem, i need to be able to attach one mesh to another, without collapsing the primary mesh to an editable_poly or mesh

So i have ObjectA, and it’s a box with an edit poly on top
and ObjectB is an editable_poly

i need ObjectB to be attached to ObjectA, but not lose the stack in ObjectA

so far meshop.attach and polyop.attach seem to only work if i collapse the object down. Any suggestions would be great, thanks.

cant you add another modifier ontop and use that to attach object B?
