[Closed] advanced visualization for custom helper meshes

if you want to stay with MXS solution only you can:

  1. write a scripted helper that extends Point helper
  2. write a scripted manipulator and draw the object’s gizmo yourself

with SDK I would write my own helper using maxsdk\samples\objects\helpers\ExposeTransform as a nice sample how to make this kind of things.

i’m looking at scripted manipulator and it is giving some interesting results too.
however in this exact case i will stick with coloured box+text as i’m a bit lazy today to design some good icon shapes.
