i was wondering if anyone of you dogs could direct me to a website offering scripting tutorials for beginners. I really like to give scripting a shot.

Look for maxscript.chm in your help file directory. It’s got an extremely good reference and some examples that are explained line by line. You can download the help files for Max from Discreet’s website free if you don’t have that particular file.

You should also take a look at the main Scriptspot.com page (which is providing me with webspace). There is a Wad-O-Tutorials that were compiled by Swami (although some might be rather old) you can download.
Also, don’t forget to check out the “How To” tutorials and the FAQ section in the MAXScript Help file.
