[Closed] Z-depth from G-buffer
To begin with, I m not scriptwriter, I do not know how to write a script, at least not for public use. Although, I know how to read them pretty well.
I searched a little on ScriptSpot and the net for (rendering) z-depth scripts.
I just found scripts using the zdepth render element
Or even stuff that uses gradient texturing.
I have not seen anything using a G-buffer data that does not need Z min and max as zdepth render element and RTT need.
I believe that a lot of users do not even know how to save this data – because it is limited to 3 formats (I will not say that reason for that is lack of information on topic on Facebook and similar shi… stuff ).
One of those formats is EXR which has been “not exotic format” for a while , maybe most interesting form. this subj.
I see here a lack of inspiration and ideas so maybe someone might consider about making something on this topic
