Hi,
started a Yafray export script.
Tested with:
3dsmax 5.1
Yafray 0.0.6
Script is here: http://www.migaweb.de/goodies/yafray.ms
How to:
- F11 (script window)
- Ctrl+N (new script window)
- Open the file
- File – Evaluate All
Now check the Utilities-Rollout und click on the MAXScript Button. Now in the rollout-Box there should be an option “Yafray Export”
Very basic, but it works

pathlight + global photon light
it’s very interessent so, is it possible to make a Render scene windows for yafray, like Final render, brasil, maxwell, …
It will be interesting too, to make yafray shaders file for 3dsmax.
It’s a big project, i know but interesting to think.
I’m going to update the script with a direct render function. But you can take a look at the yafray.org forum, there is another great export script with lots of functions.
