[Closed] VFB position on the screen and rendering progress

Hi all,

  1. I have two monitors and when I invoke the render() function, the vfb render window appears in the center of the two monitors and is very annoying. Is there any way to show the vfb (during a render() invoke) in any place on the screen other than the center?

  2. Is there any way to show the rendering progress default 3ds max dialog invoking render() or with any other method? (not the progressbar:true, I mean the 3ds max rendering progress windows).

Thx in advance,
Juan Carlos Jiménez

i dont know how to control the vfb dialog pos . but u can make this command as a macroscript for later use , it will not show vfb when render camera or active viewport:

render vfb:off

or u can make it to be a macroscript , and insert it to button shelf :

macroscript myRenderCommand category:"ur name"
(
render vfb:off
)

any other question , msn me . or google talk me .

Thx for the answer, but I’ve finally used (I didn’t know when I asked in the forum) max <command> in the form:

max quick render – Same as clicking on QuickRender. Shows the progress dialog of the render

It works for all my troubles.

Thx again!

I am similarly annoyed. Logged, and marked with high priority.
