Thanks for all the help. That was fast! I originally thought that tooltips were a property because I did see it available as a property on something, I forget what now.
About the global issue, it’s already been answered, but in the past I would usually define a local variable within the rollout. More recently, I’ve been going more with the struct approach. But it you can almost use the rollout itself as a struct by stuffing all your variables and functions inside and just making rollout global.
Did anyone encountered a problem with dotnet tooltips that makes mxs editor
and help file disappear when a rollout has an active tooltip object in it?
Can’t say that I have seen this, but then again I don’t tend to be the person using the tools that I would add tool tips to anyways.
